About me

I was born in Puerto Rico and then moved to a bilingual community in Texas where I attended a bilingual school that gave me a brilliant background in reading and writing in both languages. Many years later, I graduated from California Southern University with a Master of Arts in Psychology. Throughout my career, I have worked with people of all ages who face various life situations. The study of A Course in Miracles has become my current academic focus because it has brought me a transformative experience. The teachings of the Course have transformed my life both personally and professionally through its core messages about inner peace and forgiveness and the transformative power of love. I want to use this knowledge to provide a complete therapeutic approach that supports healing and self-awareness and spiritual development.

My spare hours are dedicated to spending time outdoors. I find peace and mental clarity whenever I spend time surrounded by nature through activities like walking and biking and skating through neighbourhood paths. I have a habit of giving trees hugs because the peaceful energy they provide allows me to re-establish my connection with nature.

I spend most of my time reading an interesting book when I am not outdoors. Fantasy novels hold a special place in my heart but I find myself reading self-help books more frequently. Self-help books have become essential for my personal and professional development because they provide me with fresh insights and useful methods to handle life’s obstacles. I continuously seek personal growth through self-improvement initiatives which help me develop better habits and advance my career.

My passion is helping others while I find deep satisfaction in leading clients through self-discovery processes to help them gain control of their lives. The therapeutic process will be conducted through joint efforts to create an environment where you maintain control of your healing journey while feeling understood and empowered to progress at your comfort. I use multiple therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioural therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness to develop personalised approaches for each client.

I make it a point to build a positive, encouraging and non-judgmental relationship with my clients. I want to build a therapeutic relationship with you where you are accepted and valued for who you are. I believe you have the right to make your own decisions and I will ensure that you are an active participant in the treatment process throughout.
